When her own four children were still at home, like her mother before her, Sunday was baking day. Mainly this meant shutting the door and taking a break from the chaos of a large family... as her own mother probably did. Traditions like this live on in my family. It's comforting to know you are doing for your family what was done in generations gone past......
But really...... it is my own self indulgence as my kids would be just as happy with chocolate fingers it seems !
